How does zero-fee processing work?+

Cash & card pricing displays a cash price and a card price before payment. For an eligible business, the difference can help offset card processing costs. Our team reviews your location, payment mix and checkout setup before proposing a program. Other account, equipment or service fees may still apply.

Is cash & card pricing the same as a surcharge?+

No. They are different pricing structures. Cash & card pricing displays separate prices; a surcharge adds a charge to an eligible card transaction. Requirements vary by location, card type and provider. Your proposal should explain the structure, disclosures and checkout settings for your business.

Can I choose traditional processing instead?+

Yes. Traditional processing keeps one customer-facing price while your business pays its agreed processing charges. Our team can compare a traditional low-rate plan with cash & card pricing using your sales channels, current fees and checkout preferences.

Does zero-fee mean my entire account is free?+

No. It describes a way to offset eligible processing costs, not a promise of a free merchant account. Review any monthly account, software, equipment, service and cancellation costs alongside transaction charges before you decide.

What happens when a customer pays cash or uses a debit card?+

A cash payment uses the displayed cash price. Debit-card treatment must follow the selected program and applicable requirements; do not assume debit can be treated like a credit-card surcharge. Ask our team how each payment type will be configured and shown to customers.

How much could my business save?+

Start with your actual monthly card sales and total processing fees. The calculator estimates current costs at the rate you select; it does not calculate a guaranteed reduction or a future quote. A useful comparison includes remaining fees, equipment, payment mix and customer choices.

Can I keep my current POS or terminal?+

Possibly. Share the device make and model, POS software and any important integrations. Compatibility depends on the specific hardware, software and processing connection. Our team checks the existing setup before recommending a replacement; a supported brand alone is not a guarantee.

Which businesses can request a comparison?+

Retailers, restaurants, salons, service businesses, mobile sellers and online businesses can discuss their needs with our team. On The Go Processing works with businesses nationwide. Account eligibility and approval are determined by the provider.

Can customers tap, insert or swipe?+

These payment methods depend on the terminal, reader and account configuration. Tell our team which methods you need, including contactless wallets, so they can be checked against the proposed setup. The device examples on this website do not promise every feature on every model.

What about online payments, invoices and recurring billing?+

Discuss your website platform, payment gateway, remote orders and billing workflow. Payment links, virtual terminals and recurring billing may be options, depending on the provider and integration. Online transactions should be reviewed separately from in-person checkout.

What do I need for a free comparison?+

Start with your business type, operating state, approximate monthly card sales, current setup and the issue you want to solve. You can request a conversation without a statement. If a statement is needed later, ask our team how to share it securely; do not upload sensitive documents to the chat or enquiry form.

How do I calculate my effective processing rate?+

Divide your total processing fees for a period by card sales for the same period, then multiply by 100. For example, $900 in fees divided by $30,000 in card sales is 3%. Use a representative period and check which costs are included so the comparison is consistent.

How long does switching take?+

It depends on provider approval, equipment, connectivity and integrations. Our team can explain the expected sequence after reviewing your business. Keep your existing processor active until the replacement is ready, and check any cancellation obligations before ending the old agreement.

Are there contracts, equipment costs or cancellation fees?+

The written proposal and merchant agreement determine those details. Review the account term, device ownership or rental arrangements, software charges, service fees and cancellation conditions together. No universal contract length or free-equipment promise is made on this website.

When will my funds arrive?+

The provider, account configuration, transaction type, cutoffs and bank holidays affect funding. Ask our team to confirm the proposed funding schedule and any applicable conditions before signing. The animated sale on this website is an illustration, not a deposit-timing promise.

How do I contact your team directly?+

Call +1 (323) 388-1971 or email info@onthegoprocessing.com. You can also submit the Contact or Consultation form with permission to follow up. The forms record an enquiry for review; they do not book an appointment or guarantee an immediate response.

Is the website assistant a person?+

No. The website assistant is AI. It can explain the published options, answer general questions and help you request a follow-up. Our team handles personal recommendations, confirmed pricing and account-specific questions. The assistant cannot approve an account or promise a savings figure.

Do I have to give contact details to ask a question?+

No. You can ask the AI assistant general questions without requesting a follow-up. If you want our team to contact you, the website asks for relevant details and explicit permission. An enquiry response is not a marketing subscription.

What happens to my voice conversation and enquiry?+

Voice starts only after you choose it and agree to microphone processing. Deepgram processes speech and River AI generates responses. This website does not save audio recordings or full chat transcripts. Deepgram requests opt out of model improvement and content retention; usage metadata may remain. River AI processes conversation text, and its account-specific retention period has not been confirmed. Consented enquiry details are stored for follow-up; see the Privacy Policy for more information. Never share card numbers, bank details or passwords.

Does the merchant application approve or activate my account?+

No. The Application page opens an external Jotform merchant application. Review that service’s terms and submit only when you are ready. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, confirm pricing or activate a payment account. Contact our team first if you are still comparing options.
